Swedish Massage in Kharghar

Long, flowing classical strokes. The place to begin.

60 / 90 min

Swedish massage uses continuous, gliding strokes worked over the whole body with oil, generally moving toward the heart. It's lighter and more even than deep tissue or Balinese, without the sustained pressure or the acupressure work either of those bring in.

It's the natural starting point if you haven't had a massage before, or whenever what you actually want is to properly switch off rather than have one area worked on specifically. It's one of the three therapies Sector 7 is known for.

It's a full-body, oil-based table session, 60 or 90 minutes. Ask for firmer or lighter pressure at any point during the session; it can be adjusted without switching to a different therapy.

Common Questions

About Swedish Massage

Is Swedish massage good for a first massage?

Yes. It's the gentlest full-body option on the menu and a good way to see how you respond to massage before trying something firmer.

How is Swedish different from deep tissue massage?

Swedish stays light and continuous over the whole body. Deep tissue holds sustained pressure in one specific tight area instead.

Does Swedish massage use oil?

Yes, throughout the session.

Which Sea Med Spa branch offers Swedish massage?

Both branches. It's one of Sector 7's three signature specialties, alongside deep tissue and Balinese massage, and it's also bookable at our Sector 11 branch.
